There are two versions of the “home” page. The current active home page is more complex than the alternative drawing content from several different regions:

• a special category which auto-populates the slider
• a special category which auto-populates the announcement
• a special category which auto-populates the lower triptych
• a carousel plugin display

There are three major differences:

• the slider is not automatically generated
• the announcement region is not automatically generated
• the slider does not contain titles and is wider

Assigning which configuration is a matter of selecting the appropriate template for the home “page”

The automatic category driven slider requires that the relevant posts are properly configured
