Santa arrived in Northfield, IL. on Thursday, December 3 to assist with the lighting of the Village of Northfield Holiday Tree. He made a grand entrance on the Northfield Fire Truck, lights aglow after carolers from Sunset Ridge School, under the direction of Musical Director Joe Lewis, entertained the crowd. Northfield Village President, Fred Gougler and Rockey Flintermann, Winnetka-Northfield Chamber of Commerce President welcomed the crowd. Northfield Village Manager, Stacey Sigman flipped the switch to light the Holiday Tree. Hot chocolate was served by Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory as Santa made his way through the crowd passing out candy canes.
